VEERANGANA HOSTEL AND REHABILITATION CENTRE JODHPUR

1.     WAR WIDOW HOSTEL, GIRLS HOSTEL AND REHABILITATION CENTRE JODHPUR has been constructed in Jodhpur at Jhalamand. The site is connected by road from Jhalamand Choraha. The construction has been carried out in two buildings

(a) Block A - lt has three stories.

(i) Ground floor: Consists of Adm Complex and rehabilitation centre, where four class rooms with conference hall fully furnished with reception in the front available.

 (ii) First and second floor: Total 64 girls can be accommodated in four dormitory rooms on each floor accommodating eight girls in each dormitory room with dinning facilities and separate study rooms available.

(b) Block B - War Widows Hostel- Here a total of 12, one BHK flats/ accommodation are available (04 each on Ground, First floor and Second Floor) for Virangana with their Families. One flat accommodation for the warden separately constructed at ground floor.

2.      This Complex has been constructed at a total cost of approximately Rs. 450 Lakhs. The furnishing work is under progress and very soon likely to be completed. The main aim and purpose of this complex is to provide accommodation to the War Widows on priority with dependent children for their education. The vacant accommodation may be considered for allotment to other categories of widows of ESM if not filled by the war widows category.

3.      The separate girl's hostel facility is available for 64 girls seeking education in Jodhpur. The Rehabilitation Centre will provide suitable training facilities to veer Naris, ex-serviceman and their dependant daughters.

4.     The construction of buildings had been undertaken by ZSKK Jodhpur through PWD on the land allotted free of cost by the State Govt. The War Widow Hostel, Girls Hostel and Rehabilitation Centre Jodhpur is likely to be inaugurated shortly
